What kind of payment options do you accept?

Our preferred option is paypal. You do not have to have an account with Paypal to be able to use the service as all major cards can be used to pay a Paypal invoice, however please contact us if this is not ideal and we will advise you on who to make cheques payable to and where to send payment.

What are your shipping costs? Do you offer higher priority shipping?

We offer a flat rate for first class recorded delivery in the UK regardless of weight and size

If you would like international delivery, we would be happy to organise this. Please contact us (we will pick up your emails quickly) and we will send you an amended invoice for your order.

Where do you ship? How long will it take for may order to arrive?

I will ship to any destination. All items that you see for sale are ready to be dispatched. Victoria Frankenstein Creatures are not listed in more than one location meaning that the picture you see is the actual creature for sale. All orders will be posted within 2 working days after payment has been received. This means that if you are based in the UK you can expect your order within 2 - 3 working days, if you are in Europe your order should be with you within 3 - 4 working days and the rest of the world should take 5 - 7 working days. These delivery times are taken directly from the Royal Mail website and based upon first class and airmail delivery. The majority of my packages find their destination well within 2 weeks; those that do not are generally subject to hold ups at customs and are therefore out of our control.

Do you do custom orders?

Of course! We love doing custom orders! Just fill in the custom order form on the left, and Victoria Frankenstein will send you a quote.

Please be aware however that once an order has been placed for a custom item it cannot be cancelled or returned so please make sure you want the item before placing the order.

How long does it take for custom orders to be made?

If I have all the necessary materials to hand your order will be completed within 2 weeks. If you have a tighter deadline please let me know and I will do my best to meet it.

Where do all your materials come from?

All of the Creatures I have for sale are made from locally sourced recycled materials.

Our policy is to not use brand new materials, as this simply adds to a culture of consumption and waste where fabrics are concerned.

Your creature will have beautifully weathered and worn texure that will not undermine the quality of the craftsmanship. If looked after according to our care instructions, your monster is made to last, without the need to be factory made. In our experience, factory made does not necessarily mean quality design.

What if I have a favourite pair of socks I want made into a monster?

How do I care for my Creature?

If for some reason your Creature gets dirty please do not put it in the washing machine unless absolutely (and we mean absolutely!) necessary. We cannot guarantee that the polyfibre filling will not redistribute itself into new and interesting shapes. But that's fine if you like that. In most cases, a gentle wash with a sponge will do.

Are your creatures ok for small children?

Any Creatures with button eyes or button decoration are not intended for children. All materials meet the necessary regulations however buttons are a choking hazard for little (or big) people that like to chew. Anything without buttons is fine.

How do I return an item?

We want you to be happy when you buy from us but we understand that sometimes your purchase may not be suitable.

We are happy to offer a refund or exchange on any item returned to us in perfect condition within 14 days of receipt of order with proof of purchase. Unfortunately however we cannot offer a refund or exchange on custom order items.

Please note we are unable to refund postage paid unless the fault is with us. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If you wish to return your item please contact us first.

If you choose to exchange for another product please check the web site for availability.

Don’t forget – refunds can only be given to the original payer so if you decide to refund a gift we can’t stop the payer knowing.
